Great pizza. Much better than Joe's. The next time I order I won't get extra cheese because judging buy the amount on the pie normal cheese is enough. Goog taste and bread to sauce to cheese ratio. We will order again for sure.

If you’re coming to Los Angeles from New York in search of Italian food, you’re almost guaranteed some disappointment. That said, Vito’s Pizza in West Hollywood is one of the better “hole-in-the-wall” pizzerias the city has to offer. I just tried their calzone, and here’s my main gripe: a calzone should not feel like a loaf of bread with a tiny pocket of filling shoved in one corner. The crust ought to be no thicker than that of a pizza, and the ingredients—not the dough—should be the star of the show. From the picture I took, you’ll see what I mean. On the plus side, the price is fair, the flavor is solid, and I actually really enjoy the atmosphere—there’s a great old-school smell when you walk through the door. But if they added even 30% more filling, these calzones would easily be five-star worthy. So, should you come here? Yes. Just don’t expect to be blown away.

Slices are big and cheesy with just the right crust. I tried the pepperoni, and it was full of flavor. The place feels casual and relaxed, perfect for lunch or dinner. Staff were nice and the food came out quickly.

Vito’s Pizza is an absolute gem in LA! The pizza was delicious with perfectly balanced flavors and a crispy crust that hit the spot. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The cozy ambiance of the store added to the charm, and the best part? Easy parking—a rare find in LA! Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving quality pizza and great vibes.

Always fresh pizza, always ready, always parking, always seating, always affordable always yummy. Mad props to Ron for popping in the slice into the oven when I called ahead of time to say I was On my way! Mad props to the cook for yummy fresh pizza.

Good pizza overall for half-bake slices. But I think I’ll stick to my $1 New York slice shops. $17 for two slices and a coke is too much.

****Unfortunately I have to update my review. My 10 year relationship with Vitos has sadly come to an end. Two weeks ago, I ordered a pizza pie for my family and after eating it, we all had gastrointestinal issues (I'll spare you the details). Not sure if bad batch of dough or cheese or sauce or someone didn't wash their hands after using the restroom or what but we were sick that night! I called and asked for the manager but was told she "Grace" wasn't in. I let the restaurant know that we became sick so they could check on everything and I also left my name and number for the mgr to call me back. Three days went by and nothing. I called again. Nothing. That was two weeks ago. I now have an aversion and will not eat there again. Either they didn't pass the two messages onto the manager or they did and she blew my messages off. Either way I'm good. I'll find a different New York pizza spot :/ I'm a New Yorker (born and raised on Long Island and partially Brooklyn) and this place is truly authentic New York pizza! Wow!!!
